USQ Alumnus Leesa Soulodre was elected to the 2017 Management Committee of Australian Alumni Singapore at its 62nd Annual General Meeting, hosted at the Australian High Commissioners Residence on Tuesday evening. Leesa will steer the Associations digital transformation and governance programs.
Australian Alumni Singapore (AAS) is the national umbrella organisation for Singaporean or Singapore-based graduates of Australian universities. With the Patronage of the Australian High Commission and the President of Singapore, AAS, the Australian Alumni of Singapore, aims to promote friendship and goodwill among the various graduates and members from different Australian tertiary and professional institutions. Since 1955, the AAS has created platforms that forge closer business, social and cultural links between Singapore and Australia - alliances that enhance professional and leadership opportunities for Australian alumni from different Australian tertiary and professional institutions in Singapore.
The Australian Alumni Singapore, through the uniting efforts of it founders and successive office-bearers, and the patronage of the President of Singapore and Australian High Commission to Singapore, has not only forged a close link to promote goodwill and understanding each other’s social, economic and cultural values, but also formed an important part of the fabric of relationships between the peoples and professionals of the two countries.

AAS works closely with the Australian High Commission, the office of the President of Singapore, Australian Universities, and their respective Alumni Associations and Chapters in order to achieve these objectives.
Leesa was fortunate to be given the opportunity to serve on the AAS Management Committee since August 2016, leading its strategic planning, digital transformation and corporate governance initiatives and the CISA strategic alliance.
Key initiatives in 2017 have included updating the AAS Constitution, the introduction of a new Code of Conduct and Ethics, and 3 digital initiatives: the rollout of the AAS Digital Village to 140,000 Australian Alumni resident in Singapore, the new AAS Magazine and the delivery of a refreshed AAS website. Leesa is also leading the launch of Australian Alumni Singapore Women.
Internationally, Leesa is the Chair of the TRIUM Women's Group (TWG) – NYU, HEC, LSE. On IWD2017, TWG was recognised by the Executive Director of TRIUM for the value delivered to its TRIUM Members. She has served for 4 years on the University of Southern Queensland Alumni Society Committee as Vice Chairman and Marketing and Communications. She was awarded a High Commendation Alumnus of the year Award in 2016 for her services to the USQ Asia Alumni Community.
Leesa Soulodre is the Managing Partner and Chief Reputation Risk Officer of RL Expert Group and the Innovation Director of Inspirit IoT. She is an Expert Advisor on ICT Open Disruption Innovation at the European Commission Executive Research Agency and holds 14 years Digital Director and Board Advisory experience in the not for profit, the academic and private sectors. She serves as Board Adviser to technology start ups: PR Software firm, Prezly (BE); Sports Analytics firm, Autoscout Inc., (IL, USA), Fashion Analytics Company, FashionMatch (Korea) and is a Director of Inspirit IoT.
Leesa holds a Global Executive MBA from TRIUM: New York Stern University, HEC School of Management and the London School of Economics and Political Science; a Masters in Management (Marketing) from the University of Southern Queensland and various Certificates from the Australian Graduate School of Management, Harvard University, Wharton and Stanford. She is a Certified Reputation Manager of the Reputation Institute and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Global Association of Risk Professionals and the Public Relations Consultants Association.
Passionate to pay it forward, Leesa also serves as a pro-bono innovation mentor at the Advanced Digital Science Centre of Singapore and is a Cofounder of DiversityDirectory Asia Pacific, a social impact initiative incubated at the SMU Lien Centre for Social Innovation. She has taught as an Adjunct on Undergraduate and MBA Programs since 2007 at esteemed academic institutions including Singapore Management University (SMU), Ecole Superieure de Gestion (PGSM) and Mod'Art International.
