USQ Alumnus represents Singapore at Duke of York's Pitch@Palace

USQ Alumnus Leesa Soulodre and her venture, HiNounou Intelligent Robot Company was selected to represent Singapore to participate in Pitch@Palace ASEAN. The Pitch@Palace initiative was founded by The Duke of York in 2014 as a platform to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. Pitch@Palace ASEAN took place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on 5 June.

HiNounou is a Connected Healthcare & Intelligent Data Platform company on a mission to empower the world’s Seniors to live longer, healthier and happier, at home.

Pitch@Palace ASEAN is an opportunity for Entrepreneurs and early stage businesses from each of the ASEAN countries to Pitch to CEOs, Influencers, Angels, Mentors and potential investors and Business Partners.

First Leesa attended the Pitch at Pitch@Palace ASEAN Boot Camp at Facebook on Monday 4 June, 2018. Boot Camp provided Leesa with the chance to hear from leading industry experts and Pitch@Palace Alumni, as well as receiving support and mentoring from B Capital, a significant healthcare investor across the region.

All Entrepreneurs were asked to Pitch their business to a panel of Judges, as well as senior business leaders, investors, and influencers from across the technology, investment and business communities. The Judges then selected 12 Entrepreneurs to Pitch for three minutes at Pitch@Palace ASEAN at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Leesa and her venture HiNounou won this chance!

Charles Bark, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of HiNounou Intelligent Robot Company said: In 2026, for the first time of Human History, WHO stated that there will be more Seniors up to 60Y than young adults below 25Y. In 2050, only in China, there will be 500M elderly which will be around 40% of the entire population. Currently, there is a signficant shortage of professional senior caregivers all over the world. We spent 12Y R&D in 4 countries in the world to help Seniors to live longer healthier and happier. Being part of Pitch@palace will increase our opportunities to impact the world, to connect with partners and to build a better healthier life with our AI predictive IoT InsurTech. We welcome all partners and investors to consolidate our blockchain ecosystem centric to seniors that brings a distributed value chain to seniors and all healthcare players.”

HiNounou have a strong track record at pitching events, already been recognised as the winner of 3 major global health tech startup competitions in China. with Bayer, Intel and at the Mobile Congress. HiNounou Intelligent Robot Company was recently recognised for its achievements in Artificial Intelligence by French President Macron on his visit to China.

At Marina Bay Sands, the Pitch@Palace ASEAN winner and runners up were selected by the Audience vote and took part in the public vote, the Pitch@Palace People's Choice Award, which opened on 25 May, 2018. Klean, the winner of Pitch@Palace ASEAN was invited to attend Pitch@Palace Global in London in December, 2018.
