    Being a part of the USQ Singapore Alumni Society Community is a great way for you to:

    Janson Yap is the Past President of the USQ Singapore Alumni Chapter and leads the Risk Advisory Services Practice for Deloitte Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific. Janson is also the Leader for Global Risk Advisory. His member firm work centers on assisting many large organizations and clients in profiling and managing strategic risks as they undertake transformation initiatives. With over 30 years of corporate and professional services experience, he has led several business transformation programs, analyzing and developing go-to-market studies, development of new operating models, human capital programs, and technology implementations. He has authored and published many articles on medical tourism, leadership, and business transformation and received several awards for his leadership: the Green Dot award (2012), the Guinness Book of Records (2014), and the Global Enterprise Risk Services Innovation award (2014). He is the co-author of the book, “Foresight & Strategy in the Asia Pacific Region.”

    Chia Yoong Hui is the Founding father of the USQ Singapore Alumni Chapter. A serial entrepreneur, he is the Co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ascenz.

     

    Founded in 2008, Ascenz is today the global leader in operational risk intelligence solutions for the maritime industry. Their decision support systems provide transparency for regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and risk management for the world's largest shipping fleets. Today the company serves its clients via direct company operations in Singapore, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar and agent partners in Greece, Italy, Nigeria and Turkey.

    Yoong Hui founded the company to support ship owners in managing the significant reputation, regulatory and social license to operate risks to sustainably operating their fleets. Given the world's dependence on oil, every small change that his technology's analytic tools encourages a shipowner to make, can only be a positive step forward for the planet.

     

    Yoong Hui also takes the time out of his busy schedule to coach and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs.

     

    Yoong Hui holds an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland and a BSc, (Hons), Business Computing with Financial Management from the University of Wales.

    A PhD Graduate of the University of Southern Queensland, Dr Lackana was named International Alumnus of the Year 2011 for her career and leadership achievements, contribution to the community and involvement in humanitarian work. Today Dr. Lackana Leelaypithayotin is the Director of Cerebos (Thailand) Ltd., CEO of Cerebos Health Supplements Division, Cerebos Pacific, Director of Lam Soon Thailand PLC and Director of Tipco Foods and Beverages. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Chulalongkorn University and an MBA in Marketing from Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven.

    Dr John Fong is the CEO of S P Jain School of Global Management which has its Global MBA Program consistently ranked by Forbes to be within the Top 20 in the world. His experience is diverse having lived and worked in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and the USA, specializing in a variety of fields such as Education, Business Development, Corporate Communications, International Relations and Law Enforcement.

     

    He is most passionate about Education having been the President/CEO of a University, a Professor at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, a published author, an academic reviewer for journals and textbooks and a sought after speaker regularly conducting seminars internationally.

     

    Dr Fong is the Past President of EuroCHRIE (European Council on Hotel Restaurant & Institutional Education), the peak academic body that represents Hospitality and Tourism Educators in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is also an elected Board Director of THE-ICE (The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education), an international accreditation agency that is an authoritative source on Tourism, Hospitality, Events and Culinary arts education ( www.the-ice.org ).

     

    Dr Fong serves on a number of Editorial Boards including the "Journal of Tourism and Services", "International Journal of Research in Tourism and Hospitality" and the widely read "HOTEL Yearbook”.

     

    His academic credentials include a PhD from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland.

6. Email
You may not send unsolicited e-mail to any account that has not specifically requested such unsolicited information or that causes complaints from the recipients of such unsolicited e-mail.  USQ Singapore Alumni Chapter's services should not be used to send unsolicited advertising messages to other network users. You may not flood/spam newsgroups with commercial or non-commercial postings. You may not continue to send commercial e-mail to a recipient if the recipient has requested that you discontinue such communication. We prohibit the transmission of e-mail that is harassing, libelous, defamatory, legally obscene or pornographic, threatening, abusive or hateful to non-consenting recipients. The forwarding or propagation of chain letters of any type (including charity requests or petitions for signatures) is impermissible. 7. Violations & Liability
Violation of these policies by staff shall be considered grounds for reprimand and/or dismissal, at the discretion of management. Liability for any damages, including but not limited to service charges, charges for lost time, repair or replacement costs, loss of value to the University, intellectual property, damages to goodwill and/or client/vendor relations, shall be borne by the individual or individuals involved. In the case of staff, such costs may be recouped via reasonable garnishment of salary or wages, at the discretion of the University.
